Bro. CHATRUMAL MENGHRAJ AHUJA was initiated December 16,1969, passed on January 20,1970 and raised on April 21,1070. He resigned soon after.
Bro. AWATAR SINGH MARWAH was initiated on January 19,1971, passed on April 17,1971 and raised on February 15,1972. He was almoner for a year. He resigned on October 20,1975.
Bro. RAMESHBHAI RAMANLAL MODY was initiated on January 19,1971, passed on April 20,1971 and raised on February 15,1972. He resigned on October 20.1983.
Bro. HATIM SALEHBHOY GUNJA was initiated on January 19,1971, passed on October 14,1971 and raised on January 16,1973. He resigned in July 1976.
Bro. Dr. HARSHAD KUMAR GORDHANDAS DOCTOR was initiated on January 19,1971, passed on October 14,1971 and raised on March 20,1973. He resigned in July 1976.
Bro.Dr. WUNNAVA GANDHI RAMARAO was initiated on February 16,1971, passed on April 20,1971 and raised on February 19,1972. He was an orthopaedic surgeon and was never regular. He was presented with the 25years Long Term Service Jewel. He was called to the Grand Lodge Above in 2010.
Bro. Dr. GAJANAND HARI TILAK was initiated on March 16,1971. He resigned in August 1972.
Bro. Dr. NAND KISHORE ALLAHABADIA was initiated on March 16,1971, passed on October 14,1971. He resigned on March 16,1974.
Bro. Dr. HATIM NAZARALI CHINIKAMWALA was initiated on July 20,1971, passed on January 18,1972 and raised on March 20,1973. He resigned on April 30,1976.
Bro. Dr. SUDHAKAR MORESHWAR SANE was in initiated on July 20,1971, passed on October 14,1971 and raised on December 19,1972. He resigned on October 31,1979.
W. Bro. Suber Taher Attari saw the light of freemasonry at the age of 26 years. Residing at Gustad Chambers, Jail Road, Dongri he later moved to Summer Queen 5 Arthur Bunder Road Colaba. He was initiated on February 18,1964, passed on July 21,1964 and raised on March 16,1965. He was a very regular brother and had the interest of the lodge at heart. He had a senior position with Dorr Oliver Engineering Company. He held several offices in the lodge. Steward 65-66; Organist 67- 68; Almoner 68-69 and 69-70; I.G. 70-71; J.D.71-72; S.D. 72-73; Chaplin 73-74; J.W. 74-75 and S.W. 75-76. He was
placed in the Eastern Chair in 76-77 and was IPM. the next year. In 83-84 he was Almoner of the lodge. Married to Zola he has 2 children. He has the rank of P.R.G.D of C with the RGLWI in 1985. He was presented Long Term Service Jewel 25 years (November 1993).
He was called to the Grand Lodge Above in November 2004.
W. Bro. Firoz Saifuddun Neemuchwala was born on October 8,1941. He embraced freemasonry at the young age of 24 years. Residing at B-108 Kenmore, Lokhandwala Complex, he is an electroplating engineer. He was the president of Gruar and Wells till he retired. Initiated on August 17,1965, passed on December 21,1965 and raised on October 18,1966. A person of genial disposition and a keen sportsman, he has been an umpire at the International level in Badmington. He held several offices in the lodge. Steward 67-68; Swd. Br. 68-69 and 69-70; Organist 70-71; Asst. Secretary 71-72; J.D. 72-73; S,D, 73-74; Chaplin 74-75; J.W. 75-76 and S.W. 76-77. He was placed in the Eastern Chair on December 23,1977 and was IPM the next year. Asst. D of C in 80-81 and 81-82. Secretary in 84-85; J.D.in 90-91; and S,D, in 92-93 and 93-94. He was master again in the year 2001-2002. He has been a recipient of a plaque, for significant contribution in freemasonry, from the Regional Grand Master of the RGLWI. Married to Denaz on May 18,1964, he has 2 sons, Husain who has settled in Canada and Riyaz in UAE. He holds the rank of P.A.R.G.D of C and has been presented with a 40 years Long Term Service Jewel. (April 2007).
W. Bro. Tarachand Siroosing Kishnani was a very popular brother, residing at Andheri and later at Ananta Appartments off Bhulabhai Desai Road, Breach Candy. He was a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals with the sole agency in India for manufacturing seamless capsules. Bro. Tara as he was known was initiated on November 16,1965, passed on December 21,1965 and raised on October 18,1968. He was born on November 3,1925. Offices held were Organist 75-76; Asst. Secretary 76-77; Swd. Br. 77-78; Br. V.S.L. 78-79; I.G. 79-80; J.D. 80-81; S.D. 81-82; Chaplin 82-83; J.W. 83-84 and S.W, in 84-85. He was installed in the Eastern Chair on November 13,1986 and was IPM the next year. He held several other offices. Bro. Tara was a person of great girth and it was always very difficult to tie an apron around him. A very likeable person he always accompanied the brethren on trips out of Bombay. I can recall him being with us in Poona, Nagpur, Salem, and Yercaud. He has also been to Bhopal, Delhi and several more. He has a keen sence of humour and is always a treat at the banquet table. He has a considerable capacity for Masonic refreshmants and was always willing to host the brethren at the slightest excuse. So often we have been invited to the N.S.C.I. Club and also at his factory at Andheri, not to forget the excellent evenings at Ananta. He accompanied the brethren to Bro. Papar's farm at Wada. He has invited us for the Past Masters Nite to his club. He received the rank of P.G.Tyler and P.R.G.J.W. Bro. Tara was a companion of Chapter Cornwallis No.33. Married to Sundri on January 14,1946 he had three children Geeta, Bhag and Neelam.
He resigned in 2001 and was called to the Grand Lodge Above soon after.
Bro. Dr. Yusuf Ebrahim Unwalla was a dental surgeon. He was initiated on March 19,1968, passed on September 17,1968 and raised on January 21,1969. He held several offices in the lodge. Steward 70-71; Swd. Br. 71- 72; Almoner 72-73; Br. V.S.L. 73-74; Asst. Secretary 74-75; and J.D. 75-76. Normally a very punctual mason, for some reason he suddenly stopped coming to the lodge and resigned thereafter.
Bro. SUBHASHCHANDRA WAMAN KATRE was initiated on September 21,1971. He resigned in February 1979.
R.W. the Regional Grand Master (WI), R.W.Hon'able Justice Dinswaw Pirosha Madon and the deputation were invited to the installation meeting. However W.Bro. Dr. Haveliwala was not. At the next meeting W.Bro. Abdul Kaiyum Esufali Haveliwala installed his brother to the Eastern Chair in the presence of 10 officers from the RGLWI and 17 visitors. W.Bro.Dr. Homyar Dinshaw Dastoor delivered the address to the newly installed master and W.Bro. Dinubhai Labhshanker to the wardens. Bro. Bipin Banerji, Bro. Shiraz Loyawala and Bro. Salehbhai Sabir were elected to the Permanent Committee. W.Bro.Dr. Dastoor was elected a member of College of Physicians and Surgeons. Bro. Shabbir Hussain announced his engagement at the meeting dated April 20,1071. This meeting was a Ladies Nite.
