Bro. CUKOO PRANJIVANDAS KAPADIA was a private detective and was a joining member from Lodge Republic No.123 GLI. He joined on July 17,1973 and was a popular brother. He was well liked and regular. He was Asst. D of C 74-75; Steward 79-80 and 80-81; He suddenly stopped attending the lodge meetings and was excluded on October 20,1983.

Bro. AFSHAR ALI MOHAMED was Consul General of Iran residing at Normandie, Carmicheal Road. He was initiated on September 19,1973, passed on January 15,1974 and raised on February 19,1974. He resigned on July 31,1974.

In the presence of the R.W. the RGM, R.W.Hon'able Justice Dinshaw Pirosha Madon and his deputation, Bro. Firoz Siamwala was ably installed in the Eastern Chair by W.Bro.Dr. Mirza Hassan Kazerani. There were 9 visitors present and 79 brethren on the roll of the lodge. W.Bro.Dr. Homyar Dastoor delivered the charge to the newly installed master and W.Bro. Dinubhai Bhatt to the wardens. Bro. Taher Mama, Bro. Dinesh Kale and Bro.Dr. Banerji were appointed to the Permanent Committee. The financial pposition of the lodge was satisfactory

Initiation: Mr. Cukoo Pranjivandas Kapadia was proposed by W.Bro. Gangriwalla and seconded by W.Bro. Bhaidas Shroff on July 17,1973 and Mr. Afshar Ali Mohamed was proposed by W.Bro.Dr. Mirza Kazerani and seconded by W.Bro. Gangriwalla on September 19,1973.

Passing: Bro. Ismail Abdul Rehman Choudhray on February 20,1973.
