The NINTEENTH INSTALLATION MEETING of Lodge Reginald Spence No.5514 EC was held on November 17,1953 and the following were the officers for the year:

W. Bro. Esmailji Alibhoy Gangriwalla was born on April 4,1905. He resided at Parikh Bhuvan, opp Mahalaxmi Station and then moved to 81, Mohamedally Road, Block C, Rm.No.4, Bombay 4. He was initiated on October 13,1944, passed on February 20,1945 and raised on July 17,1945. He was a very likable mason and the one thing I can say is that as Secretary of the lodge he kept the most meticulous minutes and these have been duly lauded by the region. He was secretary of the lodge for 11 years and I can praise him and say that the lodge never had a better secretary nor will ever have. It was his failing eyesight which forced him to give up the position of Secretary. His first office was that of Steward for two years in 1953-54 and 1954-55. He was I.G. from November 16,1956 and J.D. from April 16,1957. Asst. Secretary in 1958-59; Secretary in 1960-61; Chaplin in 1961-62; J.W. in 1962-63 and S.W. in 1963-64. He was installed in the Eastern Chair on November 17,1964 and was the IPM the next year. He then was the Secretary from 1968-69 to 1978-79. He was made an honorary member of the lodge. He was called to the Grand Lodge Above on April 11,1985.
Bro. ARVIND CHANDULAL MEHTA was initiated on August 17,1954, passed on March 15,1955 and raised on February 19,1957. He was excluded from the lodge on January 22,1969.
