W. Bro. Firoz Naumannbhai Siamwala was a chartered accountant by profession residing at 23, Nagdevi Street, Bombay 3. He was born on March 9,1936 and studied at St. Xaviers High School with an earlier RGM of the RGLWI. He studied at the Sydenham College and passed the examination of Chartered Accountants. He is specialized in audit and taxation matters. He was proposed to freemasonry by Bro. Abdul Husein Zainulabedin and seconded by W.Bro. Moshin Doctor. He was initiated on May 16,1962, passed on July 17,1962 and raised to the sublime degree of master mason on October 16,1962. An excellent ritualist, well versed with the intricate working of the lodge and and its financial situations. He held several offices and finally became master of the lodge. He was I.G. in 64-65; J.D. in 65-66; S.D. in 66-67; Asst. Secretary in 67-68 and 69-70; J.W. in 70-71 and S.W. in 71-72 and master of the lodge in 72-73; IPM in 73-74; D of C in 74-75 and Treasurer from 1975 to the end of 1989 for a period of 14 years. The finances of the lodge improved considerably under his care.

He has attended several meetings of the Regional Grand Lodge of Western India in Bombay and outside Bombay. Recently he accompanied a group of brethren who visited Lodge Montford No.249 GLI in Yercaud and also visited Salem in the same trip.

He has been accorded with the rank of P.A.Swd.Br. with the Grand Lodge of India and P.Dy.R.G.M. with the Regional Grand Lodge of WI. Happly married to Zebun on April 14,1966. W.Bro. Siamwala has a son Musthafa.

W. Bro. Salebhai Esufali Sabir an advocate by profession, was initiated on October 16,1962, passed on December 18,1962 and raised on March 19,1963. A soft spoken mason well versed in ritual working and the byelaws of the lodge. He steadily progressed and held several offices. Swd. Br. In 64-65; Organist in 65-66; Br.

V.S.L. in 66-67; J.D. in 67-68 and 69-70; S.D. in 70-71; Chaplin in 71-71; J.W. in 72-73; S.W. in 73-74; Master in 73-74;

IPM the next year. He was also Asst. D of C in 78-79 and Chaplin in 84-85. Bro. Sabir was punctual in attendance and he was very interested in the well governing of the lodge. With time his eyesight started failing and he was not able to attend the lodge. He resigned on June 8,1986. He is married to Nafisa.

W. Bro. Taher Abdul Kaiyum Mama saw the light of freemasonry when he was 30 years old. Residing at Nafesa Chambers. he was proposed by W.Bro. A.K.E. Haveliwala and seconded by W.Bro. Y.M. Degani. He was initiated on Auguat 20,1963, passed on September 17,1963 and raised on December 17,1963. The offices he held in the lodge were Steward In 64-65 and 65-66; Almoner in 66-67; I.G. in 67-68; J.D. in 68-69 and 69-70; S.D. in 70-71; Chaplin in 71-72 and 72-73; J.W. in 73-74; S.W. in 74-75. He was installed in the Eastern Chair in 75-76 and was IPM the next year. He resigned from the lodge on January 17,1984.

W. Bro. Taher Khanbhai Bagasrawala was a very pleasant and obliging freemason with a generous heart. He was a shipchandler with his business situated in Darukhana in Bombay and at Bhavnagar in Gujarat. He was born on February 10,1928 and was proposed by W.Bro. Abdul Husein Zainulabedin and seconded by W.Bro. A.K.E Haveliwala. Bro. Bagasrawala used to live at Doctor Street and in later life moved to Sea Bird, Bandra (w). He was initiated on January 16,1962, passed on July 17,1962 and raised on March 19,1963.

The offices he held in the lodge were Swd. Br. In 65-66 and 66-67; Steward in 68-69 and 69-70; Swd. Br. again in 70-71; Br. V.S.L. in 71-72; I.G. in 72-73; J.D. in 73-74; S.D. in 74-75; Chaplin in 75-76; J.W. in 76-77 and S.W. in 77-

78. He was installed in the Eastern Chair in 78-79 and was IPM the next year. J.D. in 84-85. and in 92-93; S.W. in 93- 94 and master once again in 94-95. W.Bro. Bagasrawala was presented the installed masters certificate no. 1017 for the first time after the lodge adoptd the Indian Constitution. 

The lodge was awarded the M.W.Bro. Justice Dinshaw Phirozshah Madon  trophy for the best charity performance. This was because of  a donation to an adivasi school in the rural area. W.Bro. Bagasrawala was one of the three brethren appointed for the advisability for selecting the site. He was also one of the brethren to visit Lodge Montford No.249 GLI in Yecaud. On more than one occasion W.Bro. Taherbhai was host to the brethren and their wives, may it be at his residence or on board a ship.

His wife, Maimunabai, did not lag behind in her part as a hostess, and an excellent one too. He married her on May 19,1964. He has theee sons Mansoor age 44, Mustak age 40 and Asif age 36. His interest is reading. He was called to the Grand Lodge Above on February 23,2005.

Bro. YESHWANTLAL RAMANLALl MUKTWALA residing at Jogeshwari (w) was initiated on December 15,1964. He resigned in May 1966. The installation was conducted this year with pomp and glory to install Bro. Gangriwalla by W.Bro. Moshin Doctor.

R.W.Bro. Pirozshah Pestonji Kapadia and the officers of the Regional Grand Lodge (WI) were present to witness the proceedings. There were 22 visitors and there were 61 brethren on the roll of the lodge at the beginning of the year. The financial position of the lodge was sound. The address to the newly installed master was given by W.Bro.Dr. Homyar Dinshaw Dastoor and to the wardens by W.Bro. A.K.E. Haveliwala. Brethren elected to the Permnent Committee were Bro. Homyar Dinshaw Dastoor, Bro.Dr. Fez Hiptoola and Bro.Dr. Bipin Krishna Banerji. W.Bro. Dinubhai Labhshanker Bhatt was nominated to the Board of General Purposes.

Mr. Mohamed Yahyabhoy Papar proposed by Bro. Abdul Husein Zainulabedin and seconded by W.Bro. Esmailji Alibhoy Gangriwalla and Mr. Tajbhoy Alibhoy Vahanvati proposed by Bro. Taher Khanbhai Bagasrawala and seconded bu Bro. Shiraz Loyawala on February 16,1965. Mr. Firoz Saiffudin Neenuchwala proposed by Bro. Abdul Husein Zainulabedin and seconded by W.Bro. Moshin Doctor on August 17,1965. Mr. Mahendra Chhotalal Mehta proposed by Bro.

Taher Mama and seconded by W.Bro. Moshin Doctor and Mr. Taher Huseinibhoy Zoomkhawalla proposed by Bro. Shiraz Loyawala and seconded by W.Bro. Moshin Doctor on September 21,1965.
